Great new podcast
If you want to listen to some pretty amazing artist, I found a new podcast from NPR that plays concerts on your iPod. I don't know what it is called, but it is worth checking out. It's something like live performances.

I believe the program of which you speak is "All Songs Considered." It has a pretty extensive archive from what I remember. I just checked their site out, and right now they are featuring Broken Social Scene. They are definitely worth a listen.

If a band allows live recordings, its there, no risk involved. Through archive.org you can also find some cool old movies in the public domain (like Night of the Living Dead)(or... His Girl Friday!)
